We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land, the Wurundjeri people, on whose land our wines are grown and made. We respectfully acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging. We would also like to acknowledge those peoples, including Elders, who came to live on Wurundjeri land from all over Australia as a result of dispossession from their homelands, and in more recent times through choice.
Bobar is a small family owned winery making pristine Yarra Valley wines grown on the hills around Yarra Glen. The vineyards lie on east-facing slopes where the fertile valley floor soils and the gravelly Christmas Hills intersect.
